Freedom2Play believes that youth sport participation should not be a financial burden on families. Help contribute to making it free for the kids.
The Pay-to-Play youth sport model in the US undermines the very positive attributes from sport that parents seek to instill in kids:
Freedom2Play seeks corporate and personal donations to help disadvantaged youth play the sports they love, and to grow toward making all competitive youth sports free to all.
Colorado Springs, with its ties to the Olympic Movement, represents the perfect place to hatch Freedom2Play.
PATHWAYS stands for
Promoting Athletes and Transforming How We Approach Youth Sports.
It's a partnership with MyRevolution and USL franchise Flatirons Rush.
Now expanding from its initial launch beneficiary, SoCo Select, to add Flatirons Rush Academy, with plans to further expand our beneficiary pool.
In partnership with USL2 franchise Flatirons Rush and MyRevolution, a Cause-based nonprofit fundraising platform, Freedom2Play is excited to announce the launch of the PATHWAYS Initiative. Promoting Athletes and Transforming How We Approach Youth Sports. PATHWAYS will improve the ways that sponsors can make a difference in the advancement of elite youth athletes.
Kicking things off, Flatirons Rush Academy will return to the USL Academy Cup to defend its 2022 championship! The USL Academy Cup is held in Tampa, Florida, from March 29 to April 2, 2023. MyRevolution will help to bring this cause to its network of donors.
Flatirons Rush also intends to promote its new USL college education partnership, where USL players can earn college course credits, advance its brand through NFTs and Name-Image-Likeness marketing, and bring value to its sponsors and backers.
Ultimately, PATHWAYS will change the pay-to-play model to relieve families of the financial burden of supporting their elite athlete children.
In general, youth sports across the vast lot of developed nations (particularly Europe) do not burden families financially for kids to play sports. Businesses support their communities and often underwrite youth sports. They see both the corporate civics and the marketing advantages that surround the widespread enthusiasm of sporting activities. Freedom2Play is excited to use business connections to HELP KIDS PLAY SPORTS !!!
There is no better place to kickoff F2P than Colorado Springs, Colorado, which is home to the US Olympic Committee, 24 sport governing bodies, 50-plus national sport organizations, and the largest U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center.
